Untitled - Slow wave
27’20”
2018

Solo exhibtion with music project Slow Wave(Susanna Jablonski and William Rickman)at gallery
Erik Nordenhake in Stockholm, curated in collabortation with art journal C print.

A four-channel sound installation that reinterprets the elements of a classic pop song, from the maximised emotional highs to the smallest elements, the singers’ breath. Using samples from contemporary cultural phenomena, such as the whirring of a fidget spinner, and field recordings from natural environments, the piece considers the unique character and potential of every sound in order to find new ways of creating a symphony.

Originally made for four channels(quadraphonic), stereo version above.
